Pure love stories are few and far between, ones that are genuine and feel real, LOVE IS STRANGE is one of those rare genuine ones. This is not a film adapted from a sappy romance novel, it is the creation of co-writers Ira Sachs and Maurico Zacharias, who clearly had passion for this story. This … Continue reading

This week’s Smackdown kicked things off with a promo from all of the participants of the WWE World Championship Ladder Match, minus Bray Wyatt. This was your typical promo that saw everyone say that they were going to win. The most interesting bit of this was Roman Reigns. He got straight into John Cena’s face … Continue reading

We kicked off Raw this week with The Authority addressing the majority of the locker room. This was your standard, “Everyone but Cena, Reigns and Ambrose get a chance to get into the Money In The Bank ladder match. Oh and Daniel Bryan is a B+” promo. They announced a battle royal with everyone but … Continue reading
With the recent release of MALEFICENT, I was thinking about other Disney villains and how they might work out in a live action setting. Angelina Jolie at least from the looks stand point, has it all right as Maleficent. Unfortunately due to illness I haven’t been able to catch the film yet so I cannot … Continue reading

I was having a discussion about wrestling with James Orrell (it takes up like 70% of what we talk about, we’re that awesome BTW) and I got to thinking about what finishers I liked the best in current use in the WWE. We have been seeing a lot of interesting and innovative finishers in the … Continue reading

Opening Segment The Shield The show opened with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns making their way down to the ring with some choice words for Seth Rollins, Triple H and Randy Orton. Yet again even with few words Ambrose provided an excellent promo and he proves once again why he is one of the best … Continue reading
This week, I’m changing it up. With today being Friday the 13th here in the USA, I figured it was the perfect time to celebrate a character as a Legend of Horror. And who better to be the first character I celebrate than Jason Voorhees? The Friday the 13th film series is one of my … Continue reading
Since Friday the 13th is tomorrow, I thought what better time to list off my three favorite and least favorite Friday the 13th movies. Now, just because a movie doesn’t make either list doesn’t mean I don’t like it. It just means I dig these or dislike these more. Honestly, even the ones I … Continue reading

You know there has been a lot of exciting new directors that have come unto the film scene over the last few years. One of which that has stood out and really impressed me the most is Australian director David Michod, who made the amazing 2010 crime drama ANIMAL KINGDOM. The first time I saw … Continue reading
