Welcome to this podcast series from The Super Network with Podcasters Of Horror! This podcast is all about horror anthologies from television and films and it began with a retrospective on Mick Garris’ Masters Of Horror series and continued on with looking Fear Itself, with bonus episodes on Goosebumps and Freddy’s Nightmares.

Your hosts ‘Super’ Marcey Papandrea and ‘The Terrible Australian’ Bede Jermyn are back after an extended hiatus, unfortunately due to 2023 being overly busy the podcast was on hold for a few months but it is now back and episodes will be much more frequent. The welcome back episode is a little different to what has been covered before with a look at two influential episodes of the original sci-fi/horror anthology series of The Twilight Zone with ‘Living Doll‘ and ‘Little Girl Lost‘.

Living Doll was the 126th episode of The Twilight Zone (Season 5, Episode 6) “Talky Tina, a doll that does everything, a lifelike creation of plastic and springs and painted smile. To Erich Streator, she is the most unwelcome addition to his household—but without her, he’d never enter the Twilight Zone.

Little Girl Lost was the 91st episode of The Twilight Zone (Season 3, Episode 26) “Missing: one frightened little girl. Name: Bettina Miller. Description: six years of age, average height and build, light brown hair, quite pretty. Last seen being tucked in bed by her mother a few hours ago. Last heard: ‘ay, there’s the rub,’ as Hamlet put it. For Bettina Miller can be heard quite clearly, despite the rather curious fact that she can’t be seen at all. Present location? Let’s say for the moment… in the Twilight Zone.
