4/5 I really had no idea what to expect when I put Unthinkable on, I only knew it starred Samuel L. Jackson and that it was getting some really positive reviews. So it starts off with video footage, and it looks to be like it is from a terrorist. The man in the footage looked … Continue reading

(Blogathon) Dogtooth
As part of the Blogathon which was organised with fellow bloggers over at the JoBlo forums, we each chose a film for another blogger to watch and review. I was given the task of watching and reviewing the Greek film Dogtooth. Rating: I don’t feel I can give this film a rating out of 5. … Continue reading
The Karate Kid 2010 aka Kung Fu Kid
3/5 Okay first off, this really should be called The Kung Fu Kid, considering Karate is not featured at all and they do Kung Fu in this film. The only reason it kept the Karate Kid title was for marketing, apparently people are stupid and wouldn’t notice there is no Karate in the film. That … Continue reading
Predators
4/5 Here it is folks, a proper sequel to Predator and Predator 2, one which ignores the two AvP films (thank goodness). Predators is exactly what I wanted with a sequel, it was in my opinion a bad ass film, which is something that was sorely missing from AvP. Predators is much like the original, … Continue reading
Perfect Casting, Perfect Performance #5
Perfect Casting, Perfect Performance #5 Joe Pesci as Tommy DeVito in Goodfellas Goodfellas is a classic film by the great Martin Scorsese and based on a true story. The character that Joe Pesci plays Tommy was actually a real person, and after seeing this film he is the type of person I would never want … Continue reading

Trailers To My Fav Films: Stargate
A Nightmare On Elm Street (remake)
1.5/5 To be perfectly honest, the more I think about this film the more I actually hate it. I did a podcast on it and I do think I was probably too kind to this film. At first I gave it a 2.5/5 but I feel I need to change that to 1.5/5 because it … Continue reading

Kick-Ass
4.5/5 A film that actually lives up to its title, this film actually does Kickass! Kickass is based on a comic of course, but this is quite a different type of Superhero film (and comic I assume). There aren’t any superpowers here, just a regular guy who wants to make a difference. Our main character … Continue reading
