Chapelwaite Season 1 was developed for television by Jason Filardi and Peter Filardi, based on the short story Jerusalem’s Lot by Stephen King and it stars Adrien Brody, Emily Hampshire, Jennifer Ens, Sirena Gulamgaus, Ian Ho, Hugh Thompson, Gord Rand, Trina Corkum, Devante Senior, Allegra Fulton, Eric Peterson, Michael Hough, Jennie Raymond, Julian Richings, Steven McCarthy and Christopher Heyerdahl.
Plot synopsis from IMDB: In the 1850s, Captain Charles Boone relocates his family to his ancestral home in the small, sleepy town of Preacher’s Corners. Charles will soon have to confront the secrets of his family’s history and fight to end the darkness.

* Steven has one big issue with Chapelwaite, it might surprise you.
* Marcey was terrified with a tombstone seen in the opening credits.
* The show has a very King feel to it, even with changes and expansions from the short story.
* The worm baby is highly unsettling.
* Most of the characters are endearing, except Alice and Samuel.
* The vampire lore was a tad confusing to Steven, Marcey and Bede.
