Misery was directed by Rob Reiner, script by William Goldman, based on the novel ‘Misery‘ by Stephen King and stars Kathy Bates, James Caan, Richard Farnsworth, Frances Sternhagen and Lauren Bacall.
IMDB Synopsis: After a famous author is rescued from a car crash by a fan of his novels, he comes to realize that the care he is receiving is only the beginning of a nightmare of captivity and abuse.

Dolores Claiborne was directed by Taylor Hackford, script by Tony Gilroy, based on the novel ‘Dolores Claiborne‘ by Stephen King and stars Kathy Bates, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Christopher Plummer, Judy Parfitt, David Strathairn, John C. Reilly and Eric Bogosian.
IMDB Synopsis: A big city reporter travels to a small town where her mother has been arrested for the murder of an elderly woman for whom she worked as a housekeeper.
