Welcome back to another edition of our special Super Podcast Audio Commentary episodes, listeners!

Your hosts Super Marcey and ‘The Terrible Australian’ Bede Jermyn are back for February’s fan voted audio commentary. The film was chosen for our February commentary by our fans over at The Super Network FB Group, the subject was ‘musicals’ and Cry-Baby (1990) won the poll.

Cry-Baby was written and directed by John Waters, it stars Johnny Depp, Amy Locane, Susan Tyrrell, Polly Bergen, Iggy Pop, Ricki Lake and Traci Lords.

If you have never listened to a commentary, here is how it works. You simply need to grab a copy of the film, and sync up the podcast audio with the film. We will tell you when to press start, it is that easy! You can listen to it while you watch the film or listen to it on its own.

Highlights include:

* We are only a week late this time!

* Both Marcey and Bede haven’t seen this film for many years.

* The film starts off with scenes of vaccination aka RELEVANT!

* Wait, are the teens having socially distant make out sessions?

* We both get distracted by the songs and costume design.

* Is Mona ‘Hatchet-Face’ the best character in this film?

* Traci Lords character of Wanda has the best hair!

* Plus much, much more!

DISCLAIMER: This audio commentary isn’t meant to be taken seriously, it is just a look at a classic film. It is for entertainment purposes, we do not wish to offend anyone who worked on and in the film, we have respect for you all.
