[31 Days Of Horror ’15] The Visit (2015) by Super Marcey, Bede and Bea

31 Days

It’s a bit of understatement to say that writer/director M. Night Shyamalan has had a bad couple of years. The once promising filmmaker is basically seen as a walking punchline these days due to the fact that his films since THE VILLAGE have either been critically or box office flops. However we have all hoped that one day he would make a come back and make quality films again like his earlier efforts THE SIXTH SENSE, UNBREAKABLE and SIGNS. Now Shyamalan is back in cinemas with his latest film, which is the found-footage horror/comedy THE VISIT. Is the film a return to form for M. Night? Or is it another disappointment? Super Marcey, Bede ‘The Terrible Australian’ Jermyn and Bea Harper saw the film recently and got together to discuss their thoughts on it. The following review in an audio format, as a back and forth discussion between the three of us. Enjoy!
