[Bea’s Ranting Reviews] Crash [1996]

Editors-Pick-Crash-New-Version

Dir.: David Cronenberg

Starring: James Spader, Elias Koteas, Deborah Kara-Unger, Holly Hunter

There are many ways of getting off and Cronenbergs’ demented odyssey into mortal fatality is no exception. With a gifted cast, a gritty yet at the same time dreamy style and overall sensation of dread and erotica, Crash is a whole film that also plants no judgements on the characters and their tastes. Highly recommended but a word of warning- if sexual deviance is something that disgusts you, you’re better off not watching this one. To the rest of you… enjoy… and have your psychiatrist on speed-dial if you feel you need it.

Note: Is it my imagination or is Deborah Kara-Unger one of the most beautiful women ever?
