Yep, its almost that time of the year once again everyone! Now that October in finally upon us, that means only one thing…It’s Halloween time! Like many horror fans on the planet, I’ll also be spending the entire month watching horror films. As some of you probably already know, for the last two years the theme for my viewing list was that I would watch 62 horror films in 31 days (31 of which were older films made before the year 2000, while the other 31 were newer films released after 2000). I was planning on doing that again this year as well (since it was a lot of fun to do), unfortunately I wont be able to that now.  The main reason being that I have a lot of major things happening during a two week period in October (I have a wedding to attend and I’m also going on a holiday as well) and I sadly wont have enough time to watch two horror films a day. So decided to skip it this year (I’m definitely doing it for next October for sure, but I’ve also thought about maybe doing a special edition of it sometime in early 2015 but we’ll see) and think of a new theme to do instead.

After thinking about it, I’ve decided that the theme for my Halloween Viewing List this year will be… Sequels, prequels and documentaries! For my list last year, I didn’t put a sequels or prequels on it because I wanted to focus more on stand alone films. Since there are some sequels I haven’t had a chance to see yet (including some upcoming ones that I want to see), I thought I’d focus on them this year. Plus I also wanted to check out some horror themed documentaries that I also haven’t seen yet as well. Also besides these 31 films I’ve chosen, they’ll also be a couple of bonus films I’ll be seeing on certain days too (they will be a mixture of rewatches, special cinema screenings of older horror films and cinema releases of some new horror films). Now the question remains: will I be able to watch them all? well, stay tuned and find out!
