He Was A Quiet Man

4/5 I had seen the trailer for this ages ago, and I thought it looked interesting, although now I barely remember the trailer, I went into this not knowing much about it at all, just that it had Christian Slater in it. Now I really don’t want to give anything away as this works so … Continue reading →

Iron Man

(Only taken me a week to actually write a small review) 4/5 What can I say about Iron Man? Well it is a great and fun film! It pretty much hits all the right spots, which isn’t something a lot of comic book adaptions are known for. This one however I’m glad to report does … Continue reading →

[Mini Review] An American Crime (2007)

[Mini Review] An American Crime (2007)

This is quite possibly one of the more disturbing and heart breaking films you are likely to see. Based on the real events (They based a lot of it on the actual trial transcripts) of Sylvia, a young girl sent to live with a family who end up torturing her. The prosecutor of the actual … Continue reading →

Makin lasagna!

So today after work me and Mum made lasagna for Mother’s Day lunch tomorrow. Made from scratch, Mum made the sauces and we made the sheets together and then put it all together! And with the left overs we got some pasta for this evenings dinner. Check out the photos below.

Lacking…

Well I got my blood test results on Thursday, and I am lacking vitamin d, so I have to have some dose of it and see if it helps bring the levels up. I’ll have to have another blood test in like 3 or 4 weeks to see what the levels are like. Pretty weird … Continue reading →

The Mist

4/5 After a terrible storm a small town gets a mist all around them, and something about the mist just isn’t right. That is the basic outline of The Mist, to tell you anymore is a crime. I think the best way to see this one is to know the least about it possible (Unless … Continue reading →

The QUEEN is BACK!

Yes thats right, the QUEEN is BACK! Madonna has just released her latest album Hard Candy and I have to say…. I FUCKING LOVE IT!!! Smart People

3.5/5 Smart people, intellectual people, but not really happy people. That is exactly how to describe this film and its characters. We have the grumpy Professor (Dennis Quaid), the over achieveing daughter (Ellen Page), the poet son (Ashton Holmes), the adopted brother (Thomas Haden Church) and the Doctor (Sarah Jessica Parker). They each have their … Continue reading →
