[Review] The Way Way Back (2013)
From the opening scene THE WAY WAY BACK was really grabbing, it just throws the audience into a very awkward situation and immediately there was a connection to young Duncan (Liam James). His mothers boyfriend Trent (Steve Carell) is giving him a talk while they are in the car, basically insulting Trent, although he tries … Continue reading

[Review] The Wolverine (2013)
There is no doubt that X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE left a pretty sour taste in the mouths of fans of the character, series and generally those who enjoy cinema. When a second WOLVERINE film was announced, many of us remained sceptical but had a gleam of hope as Darren Aronofsky was attached to direct. However that … Continue reading

[Review] Before Midnight (2013)
BEFORE MIDNIGHT was a rather inevitable film, especially after BEFORE SUNSET, not a bad thing at all as we now have the BEFORE trilogy. The story of Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy) continues, 18 years after it first started, when they met on a train and experienced a life changing night. After their … Continue reading

[Review] Only God Forgives (2013)
Back in 2011 a film seemed to take everyone by surprise, that film was DRIVE.
