The Series: Finn the human and Jake the dog live in the strange Land Of Ooo, where they have adventures!
I am sure by now most people are quite familiar with Adventure Time, it has stolen the hearts of many. Well if you are a fan or want to check out this show, Season 1 is here on DVD. It contains all 26 episodes of the series and an array of extras.
While watching this show off and on during my down time while being unwell, it certainly helped my moods and it was a strange experience too. There isn’t really a show quite like this out there, it’s very wacky and it’s what I’d love to hallucinate instead of melting walls (you know when that happens).
The characters are delightful, I certainly took a shining to Finn. The animation is actually very well done, which caught me by surprise. It’s very colourful and vibrant, it is so easy to get taken in by this world. The great thing about this show is that it is so easy to watch, and let the episodes flow by.
It can be watched anytime, in whatever mood. It’s really great and while I was unwell this was the medicine I really needed.

Audio/Video: The video and audio are both superb! The animation is crystal clear, the colours are extremely vibrant and this is how you’d want to experience the show.

The extras included are fantastic, this is a must for fans. They are really fun, especially the behind the scenes of the behind the scenes. Commentaries are so entertaining, very much worth the time to listen to!
