Nightcrawlers (S01 E04)
Teleplay by Philip DeGuere Jr., based on the short story by Robert R. McCammon, directed by William Friedkin, it stars Scott Paulin, James Whitmore Jr., Robert Swan, Exene Cervenka, Sandy Martin, Bobby Bass and Matt Levin.
Plot Synopsis: “Drifter Price shares his Vietnam War memories with diner patrons.”
Gramma (S01 E18)
Teleplay by Harlan Ellison, based on the short story by Stephen King, directed by Bradford May, it stars Barrett Oliver, Darlanne Fluegel and Piper Laurie as the voice of Gramma.
Plot Synopsis: “A boy is terrified of his odd, sinister, bed-ridden grandma.”
Button, Button (S01 E20)
Teleplay by Richard Matheson (as Logan Swanson) based on the short story by Matheson, directed Peter Medak, it stars Mare Winningham, Brad Davis and Basil Hoffman.
Plot Synopsis: “A couple receives a box with a button — and an unusual offer.”
