This podcast is all about horror anthologies from television and films and it began with a retrospective on Mick Garris’ Masters Of Horror series and continued on with looking Fear Itself, with bonus episodes on Goosebumps and Freddy’s Nightmares.

Your hosts ‘Super’ Marcey Papandrea and ‘The Terrible Australian’ Bede Jermyn are back with special guest Marcus Wilturner, making his debut on Podcasters of Horror to get into the Halloween spirit with a discussion on two horror anthology films with Trick ‘r Treat (2007) and Tales Of Halloween (2015). The two films are set on Halloween, in the same town, tell different stories and approach the horror anthology differently to each other.

Trick ‘r Treat was written and directed by Michael Dougherty, it stars Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, Dylan Baker, Rochelle Aytes, Quinn Lord, Lauren Lee Smith, Moneca Delain, Tahmoh Penikett, Britt McKillip, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Samm Todd and Leslie Bibb.
Synopsis from IMDB: Five interwoven stories that occur on Halloween: an everyday high school principal has a secret life as a serial killer; a college virgin might have just met the guy for her; a group of teenagers pull a mean prank; a woman who loathes the night has to contend with her holiday-obsessed husband; and a mean old man meets his match with a demonic, supernatural trick-or-treater.

Tales Of Halloween has segments directed by Dave Parker, Darren Lynn Bousman, Adam Gierasch, Paul Solet, Axelle Carolyn, Lucky McKee, Andrew Kasch, John Skipp, Mike Mendez, Ryan Schifrin and Neil Marshall.
