Your regular co-hosts Super Marcey and the Terrible Australian Bede are here, and we had to bring back special guest Tamika Jones from DailyDead.com, who has much love for one of these films! This episode sees us discussing the only film Stephen King ever directed with Maximum Overdrive (1986) and original script turned film Sleepwalkers (1992) from King and Mick Garris.

Maximum Overdrive is an adaptation of the short story Trucks directed by Stephen King who also adapted the script, and it stars Emilio Estevez, Pat Hingle, Laura Harrington, Yeardley Smith, Frankie Faison and John Short. Maximum Overdrive is about a comet coming close to Earth, which causes machines to come to life causing chaos and havoc.

Sleepwalkers was written by Stephen King, an original screenplay not based on one of his stories, directed by Mick Garris, and it stars Alice Krige, Brian Krause, Mädchen Amick and Dan Martin. The film focuses on a mother and son who are shapeshifters who come to a new town to find a young virgin to feed off of.
