The Lawnmower Man (1992) is a mostly in name only adaptation of Stephen King’s short story. It was directed by Brett Leonard and it stars Pierce Brosnan, Jeff Fahey, Jenny Wright, Mark Bringelson, Geoffrey Lewis, Jeremy Slate, Dean Norris and Austin O’Brien. The Lawnmower Man: A Suburban Nightmare (1987) is a short film directly adapted from the short story, it was directed by James Gonis and stars Andy Clark, Helen Hanft and E.D. Phillips.
