SHOPLIFTERS, ACUTE MISFORTUNE, THOROUGHBREDS and BODIED
Welcome to the 2nd edition of my 2018 Melbourne International Film Festival (a.k.a. MIFF) audio reviews. In this one, I share my thoughts on Hirokazu Kore-eda’s Cannes Film Festival Palm D’Or winning film SHOPLIFTERS, the biopic on controversial artist Adam Cullen ACUTE MISFORTUNE, the dark teen comedy THOROUGHBREDS and music video director Joseph Kahn’s satirical rattle rap comedy BODIED.
For more of my experiences at MIFF, follow me at www.twitter.com/BedeJermyn for my daily random thoughts and first reactions to all the films at the festival.
