Top 5 Quotes From Re-Animator

Re-AnimatorbAnner

Re-Animator is my all time favourite horror film, I basically worship this film. I do like to show people this film and then proclaim them in the Marcey Club, because why not? Since my health isn’t really allowing me to do much in the way of watching and reviewing a bunch of horror films, I figured a nice list is a great way to show my love for this film. This film is filled with many great quotes and here are my Top 5 …

5.) “I must say, Dr. Hill, I’m VERY disappointed in you. You steal the secret of life and death, and here you are trysting with a bubble-headed coed. You’re not even a second-rate scientist!” – Herbert West

I love this quote because West actually takes all this very seriously and he isn’t impressed with Dr. Hill at all.

4.) “I was busy pushing bodies around as you well know and what would a note say, Dan? “Cat dead, details later”?” – Herbert West

This one makes me laugh, after Dan discovers his dead cat and West shows up, Dan tells him off for not leaving and note. West simply doesn’t care, he probably killed the cat to experiment on it.

3.) “What’ll they do? Embalm us?” – Herbert West

Dan and Herbert break into the morgue to find a corpse to bring back to life. Dan asks ‘What if we get caught?’ and Herbert’s response always makes me chuckle.

2.) “Mister West. I suggest you get yourself a pen.” – Dr. Hill

This scene is general is hysterical, Herbert West does not like Dr. Hill and as Dr. Hill is talking in class, Herbert West snaps his pencils, and Dr. Hill finally snaps.

1.) “Who’s going to believe a talking head? Get a job in a sideshow.” – Herbert West

Yes this is my favourite quote from the film, Herbert is talking to a head … never fails to make me laugh. On a side note, by chance when I met Jeffrey Combs last year and he signed a Re-Animator picture, he put this quote on it … he knew!
