Bede’s Top 50 Favourite Movie Songs – Part 1 (50-26)

If have been following me over the last couple of years here on, you would know that I’m responsible for one of the site’s most popular weekly columns My Movie Song Of The Week. Recently I posted my 200th edition of the column and to celebrate this massive milestone, I’ve decided to do a two-part list of my top 50 favourite movie songs. However there is only one catch: all the songs on the list have to be ones that I’ve already chosen for the article (luckily all these songs are already favourites of mine). I must admit it was actually pretty hard to narrow it down to just 50 songs, thankfully I was able to. What I like about my list is that all of the songs come from a wide variety of films. Also it’s a great mixture of songs that have been featured in many Best Movie Song lists of the past, and as well as some that you would never expect to appear on a list like this (I think you all will be surprised what didn’t make the cut). Now with that out of the way, let’s get right to it. Here is 1st part of my top 50 favourite movies songs list that goes over 50 to 26. Enjoy!

Come back next week to see part two of my list, where I reveal which songs made the top 25.
