Before you say it, I already know what you are thinking: isn’t a bit too late to do a top 10 best film list of 2013 when that year finished nearly 3 months ago? While that is definitely true and I would’ve had this list out much earlier but there were still a lot of films released in 2013 I didn’t get a chance to see yet. So I decided spent the last few months catching up with all of them in preparation for this list (actually it was suppose to last for a few weeks but I was busy with a few other things in my personal life, hence the lateness). Plus I also wanted to rewatch a bunch films that I loved last year to see if they were worthy enough to be on it. I must admit that for the first 7 months of last year I was a bit underwhelmed from the films that I saw during that time. Not to say that I didn’t see any great films, its just they were very few and far between. Plus it didn’t help most of the stuff that I saw ranged from good to crappy. However once the last half of the year came around, I saw a lot more excellent films. I have to say now overall that 2013 was a pretty damn great year for films and it actually was hard to narrow it down into just 10 films, but luckily I was able to. Now before I go into my final official top 10 of list, here’s another list of films that sadly didn’t make my list but were my honourable mentions for the year. Enjoy!
