The Super Network 
As a teenager I devoured the books and they were my first introduction into the world of horror fiction.
In hindsight the movies weren’t good and would be laughable now but at the time they nearly made me s**t myself.
These days, if I want gut-wrenching, eye-popping, blood-curdling horror I just open my credit card statement.

Last time I saw the original I thought it was pretty good.
