Point Blank is an intense thriller, that is exciting and extremely well put together. The film follows a familiar formula, but it has a fresh spin on it, I am sure there will be comparisons to things like Taken or even something like Nick Of Time. [AFFFF ’12] Et Soudain Tout Le Monde Me Manque (The Day I Saw Your Heart)
The Day I Saw Your Heart is an odd little film, one of the comedy/drama and slightly quirky variety. These types of film can go either way, this one falls somewhere in the middle, not quite being able to reach greater heights but not a total failure either. The story is about a family, two … Continue reading
[AFFFF ’12] Poupoupidou (Nobody Else But You)
Every so often a film comes along and is absolutely surprising and not at all what was expected. Nobody Else But You or Poupoupidou as I prefer is that film for me, I had my expectations on what it was about and how it may unfold but it was not at all what I thought … Continue reading
[AFFFF ’12] Les Contes de La Nuit (Tales Of The Night)
Tales Of The Night is a wonderfully unique visual experience; its animation is stunning and quite stylised. I was impressed simply by the look of this film, it is wonderfully crafted from the get go. The story here is a simple one, it features three friends in a Parisian theatre who come up with stories … Continue reading

[AFFFF ’12] Le Chat Du Rabbin (The Rabbi’s Cat)
The Rabbi’s Cat is what I would call a pleasant surprise; I went into this film blind. I had no idea other than it was an animation, of what it was about or the back story. You see this film was originally a 5-part comic series, which was highly popular in France from writer and … Continue reading
