Welcome to our Podcast series from The Super Network with The Ozploit Cast! This podcast series is all about Ozploitation Cinema! If you don’t know what that is, it is exploitation films from the land Down Under! That’s right, Australia from the 70’s to now have been making exploitation films from all genres with horror, comedy, sc-fi, thriller, erotic and action to name a few. The podcast started with Wake In Fright and each episode covers five films in release order.
While you are waiting for the next official episode of the podcast (don’t worry, episode 23 will be coming very soon), your hosts Marcey & Bede thought in the meantime, they would do a bonus episode that would be an audio commnetary on one of the Ozploitation films that they previously discussed for the podcast. While Marcey herself wasn’t already to make this one, co-host took the reigns of this one and brought in writers/actors/husband-&-wife team Todd Martin & Trish Erickson-Martin. Which Ozploitation film did the three of them do an audio commentary on? It was the cult classic 1984 killer pig film Razorback.
Razorback was directed by Russell Mulcahy, written by Everett De Roche and it stars Gregory Harrison, Arkie Whiteley, Bill Kerr, Chris Haywood, David Argue, John Howard and Judy Morris.
