Welcome to this podcast series from The Super Network with Podcasters Of Horror! This podcast is all about horror anthologies from television and films and it began with a retrospective on Mick Garris’ Masters Of Horror series and continued on with looking Fear Itself, with bonus episodes on Goosebumps and Freddy’s Nightmares.
Your hosts ‘Super’ Marcey Papandrea and ‘The Terrible Australian’ Bede Jermyn both back for episode 32, we apologise that it has been a little bit of time between episodes, we are now back to a better schedule and this podcast should be releasing monthly! Marcey and Bede have returned to the 80’s iteration of The Twilight Zone and discussing two segments from the show with The After Hours and Little Boy Lost. One of these segments is a remake of an episode from the original series, one just has a similar name to an original episode. So what did the hosts make of these two segments? The After Hours
(Segment 1 from Season 2 Episode 28)
Teleplay by Rockne S. O’Bannon, based on the original Twilight Zone episode by Rod Serling, directed by Bruce Malmuth. It stars Terry Farrell, Ned Bellamy and Ann Wedgesorth.
Plot: “Marsha Cole detects shadowy figures and mysterious voices around her during a trip to a local shopping mall.”
Little Boy Lost
(Segment 1 from Season 1 Episode 4)
Written by Lynn Barker Directed by Tommy Lee Wallace. It stars Season Hubley, Scott Grimes and Nicolas Surovy.
Plot: “A woman, struggling with the decision to settle down and raise a family or embrace her accelerating career, befriends a strange boy who seems to be stalking her. ”
