Welcome to our Podcast series from The Super Network with The Ozploit Cast! This podcast series is all about Ozploitation Cinema! If you don’t know what that is, it is exploitation films from the land Down Under! That’s right, Australia from the 70’s to now have been making exploitation films from all genres with horror, comedy, sc-fi, thriller, erotic and action to name a few. The podcast started with Wake In Fright and each episode covers five films in release order.

Bede Jermyn and Super Marcey are your hosts for The Ozploit Cast and are here for Episode 18! Joining the pair is returning guest Lindsay Wilkins (Schlock & Awe) to discuss another five Ozploitation films! Up for discussion this month are five films from 1985 and 1986 with Wills & Burke (1985), Windrider (1986), Frog Dreaming (1986), Fair Game (1986) and Frenchman’s Farm (1986)! These five titles are a mixture of genres, two films feature Nicole Kidman and one has time travel! Listen in and find out what we thought of these films!

Wills & Burke Synopsis: Parody of historical epics that focuses on real-life Australian explorers William John Wills and Robert O’Hara Burkes, who tragically tried to cross the Australian continent from the south, to the north, a distance of 3,250 km.
Windrider Synopsis: PC does a 360 degree jump on his windsurfer board early morning. A cute singer’s the only witness, so PC looks for her. He’s in love – not mutual.
Frog Dreaming Synopsis: A resourceful American orphan living in rural Australia finds himself caught up in the magic of a local Aboriginal myth that might be more real than anyone knows.
Fair Game Synopsis: A young woman running an animal sanctuary in the outback takes her revenge on a trio of kangaroo hunters who terrorized her.
Frenchman’s Farm Synopsis: An Australian woman’s car breaks down in the country, and when she goes to get help, she’s whisked back in time to 1944 and witnesses a murder. Returning to her car, time reverts to normal, but unable to convince anyone of her story, she investigates the crime herself.
