I don’t know about anyone else, but I thought that 2014 was a pretty damn good year for films. Sure there was a crap was released, but a lot more good films than bad ones (as you can see in my upcoming top 10 best & worst of 2014 lists, which I’ll be posting soon). I watched a lot of films at the cinema or a home through out that year and as you would expect, I saw so many truly great shots in them. So, I thought that I would dedicate an entire article to showcase what I think were the best shots from 2014 films (similar to what I did with my Greatest Shots In Horror Films and 50 More Greatest Shots In Horror Films in the past). These are a collection of shots that I personally found to be either iconic, beautiful, memorable, moving, creepy and, most importantly, amazing. Whether they are a simple well crafted shot on its own or as part of a truly memorable scene. But one thing I do know for certain, and hopefully you’ll also agree with me, is that each film’s director and cinematographer created a shot that instantly burned into our memories. I must warn that this list does contains images that could be considered either spoilers or NSFW. Enjoy!
