Refuge Trailer

I (Garrett Collins)love films. One of the reasons I love reviewing them is because to me, it is so much fun to go inside the heads of other people and seeing what they create. And, while reviewing them has been fun, my mind was opened the day my old high school friend Teddy Gyi sent me a script called Refuge he had just written and asked me to be a part of its making. I am honored to say that I am helping him produce it. This, my friends, has been a great experience, and I cannot wait for you to see the finished product! You want to get immersed in characters, then this is the film for you.

The film takes kind of a Crash approach that tells the intertwining tales of an actress battling drug addiction, a police officer involved in a love triangle, a high school teacher who fights to keep a dream alive, and a young refugee from Burma with a haunting past. We have just completed 40% of filming. Just enough to make a trailer (displayed below). I am very proud to be a part of putting this film together, and cannot wait until you guys are able to see all of what he has in store. It will definitely surprise you (hint: even though it is a very dramatic film, there will be zombies!).

Also, making this film is not cheap. We need a bit of help completing it. Which is where you guys come in. There is also an indiego fundraising site that I would like to show you guys. Take a look at some of the perks listed (for example, $10 gets you a free copy of the completed film, and $1,000 gets you an executive producing credit, with many more perks in between. So if you take a look at our trailer and like what you see, head over to the indiego site so we can finish this puppy up. I guarantee you: you will not be disappointed! Thanks!
