So earlier I posted up the brand new one sheet for A Nightmare On Elm Street remake which was pretty damn sweet if I do say so myself. And now a new trailer has made its way to the interwebs! This is another solid trailer, the first trailer was pretty good but we didn’t see much of Freddy. (You can check out my original post here) This new trailer however has a lot of Freddy and you know what, for the most part I am liking this Freddy.
He is a different Freddy, and he actually seems very creepy (although I have to get passed the fact he sounds exactly like Rorschach) and it looks like it mixes up seriousness with him and some nice one liners. Not much of a view of the face which is fine, but from what we can see it looks disturbing. The actors all seem alright as well, I do like Thomas Dekkar (Heroes, Sarah Connor Chronicles) and Kyle Gallner (Veronica Mars, Smallville). It really looks like they have done a mixture of stuff from the original film and some new stuff, and my excitement level has gone up, sooo please, pleaseeee deliver the goods on this one. We need a really good remake and I love the series (yes even the crappier entries) and it’d rock if a remake hit the mark again (you know like Last House, Dawn of the Dead, Hills Have Eyes).
