The Feature:
This DVD features the three sold out shows that Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes did in the UK (London, Manchester and Edinburgh). If you are big fans then you know what you’re in for, if you are uninitiated then you are in for a real treat! This is basically a live stage version of the Jay And Silent Bob podcasts that Smith and Mewes do. The pair sit at a table with their microphones and all systems are go! Nothing is off limits in their talk and discussions, and that is one of the reasons why I love these shows.

Nothing is sacred here, the pair discuss anything and everything and it is a hoot. Each show is different and just as entertaining as the next. It adds something to the experience you don’t get with an audio podcast, you visually get to see them in action. Mewes is more physical then Smith, but you can really see in their eyes that they are happy to be there and enjoying the audience and their reactions. The pair have been friends a long time and it shows, their natural repour and chemistry shine through on each show, it is electric.

This really is hilarious, each show just works so well and I had a blast watching this and getting immersed into their world. This is something I highly recommend, fans will love it to pieces and this is a good way to get thrown in if you aren’t familiar with their podcast stuff (if you are a complete newbie to Kevin Smith, go find Clerks and Mallrats).

The Australian DVD:
Video/Audio: The video is presented in 16:9 and it looks fantastic, it was nicely shot and the transfer is quite crisp. The audio is really clear and sharp, they did a great job with it.
