Welcome to Episode 27 of the Super Podcast, for this edition Super Blog meets 24fps Blog! Yes, when blogs collide they make a podcast! I am joined with Sam Inglis who runs 24fps and is a fellow schmoe from the JoBlo forums. Sam came up with the topic of discussion for this episode, on films that we had seen but we’d found that no one else we knew really had, hence the title of the podcast.
Highlights Include:
Sam introduces himself and tells us a little about his website and how he got into reviewing.
Not surprising we have a range of foreign films on offer and I can’t pronounce names!
Sam discusses a film which is based on the same story as The Exorcism Of Emily Rose.
I bring up a film I have only seen once, but I think everyone should see.
Despite how different our picks are, we manage to both pick films by the same director.
Want to get into Tom Waits music? I tell you where you should start!
And much, much more!
It was a real pleasure to finally have Sam on the podcast as we have been discussing this for a few months now. He has a fantastic website with 24fps and I highly recommend that everyone check it out, ‘They Made Tom Watch’ is one of my personal favourite sections on the site. You can contact Sam at sam@24fps.org.uk and you can catch me on Twitter @SuperMarcey or you can send me an email with any suggestions or feedback at marcey@supermarcey.com
